Description:"The fourth Seventh-Day Adventist church was the famous Dime Tabernacle dedicated in 1879. It was a brick-faced building 105 x 130 feet with a seating capacity of 3200. It cost $26,275 with furnishings. Seventh-Day Adventists everywhere, as well as Battle Creek citizens, donated dimes for its erection. It served both the Church and the community until it burned January 7, 1922."
