Description:CHURCH ORGANIZED -- Fifty persons became charter members of the Berrien Springs Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church when it organized Saturday, February 10. The building, formerly the Evangelical United Brethren Church at 210 W. Ferry Street, has a seating capacity of 250. Above, left to right, are James Valentine, pastor of the group prior to their organization as a church; Orval Scully, who assumed pastoral duties Saturday; R. D. Moon, president of the Michgian Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, who spoke at the organizational service; and Anthony Castelbuono, an associate pastor of Andrews University's Pioneer Memorial Church, which guided in the development of the new church
