Banks started the first field school of evangelism in 1948 in order that ministerial students might gain experience in public evangelism before beginning their own ministries. The 135 field schools Banks conducted for the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, in which 1,250 students have taken part, resulted in the baptism of 10,000 people |
