Description:Photograph from the obituary of Edward Arthur Turner, who went by the nickname 'Ted'. Ted was a convert to the Seventh-day Adventist faith and worked most of his life in the Australiasian division of the SDA General Conference. Turner was somewhat of a legend in the Australasian division for his dedication to ingathering, much of which he did through simple footwork. In addition to ingathering, Turner also served as president of the Melbourne Advent Band in Australia. His dying words were addressed to his wife, Marjorie Driscoll Turner: Don't hesitate to work for the Lord.
