| Description: | Approximately 50 Andrews University students joined the 1969 tutorial program for children in Benton Harbor elementary schools, according to Joe Cooper and Rosalyn Hill, co-chairpersons of the program sponsored by the Andrews Student Association. Within this program, Andrews students volunteer to assist children in grades four through seven who need special help in understanding their schoolwork. Volunteers also work with the Berrien Coutny Day Care Center for Retarded Children. Signing up as tutors in this photo are Mary Poole and Yvonne Crowder.
