Title:Original church building in Lapeer, Michigan
Description:Building built in the 1870s for use as an Adventist church, replacing another church on Fox Street. Used until 1963. The white addition on front was added later, also a cellar was dug out for a Sabbath school room and furnace. Heated by wood stoves to start with. Pews were very old fashioned and very upright with narrow seats.
