The Ellen White Issues Symposium is typically held yearly in the Spring in the chapel of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The purpose of this annual symposium is to break new ground in understanding Ellen White and issues relating to her life, ministry, and prophetic gift that have current importance.
The structure of the symposium has elements of academic formality. A paper will be presented with a prepared response followed by a brief response from the presenter(s). The papers presented are published in a journal that is available at a reasonable cost from the Center for Adventist Research.
At the meeting there is an opportunity to submit questions relating to Ellen White and current issues. An attempt is made to discuss as many of these question as time will allow in the afternoon.
